In a bizarre crossover event that challenges usual forecasts, the game developer has unveiled an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, including free extra story content for Shadows players.

According to the official release, "A strange confrontation draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where whispers of banned practices and terrifying changes resonate through the obscurity." The narrative presents a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with traveling into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a hidden cult.

The adventure centers on "bizarre experiments and a monstrous foe" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Locations and Transformations

The teaser showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview concludes with a powerful sequence showing a character, likely the captive, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
